Mini Trivia[edit]

Penitus is latin for 'inner' or 'inward'

Oculātus is latin for 'having eyes; having sight, seeing; eye-shaped; visible, conspicuous, easily seen'

Roughly means "Inner Eye".

The second word is also an adjective, though. I think "Inner Seeing" is more accurate. Accordingly, they look inward and watch over the person at the heart of the Empire. -74.64.55.216 01:29, 7 April 2013 (GMT)

How are they classified, in relation to the guard and such?[edit]

I was bored and returned to Solitude for some sniper practice from the rooftops and put an arrow through a PO Agent's head. When he dropped, the other was assaulted by the Stormcloak guards in the courtyard who were doing archery practice. So that made me curious, how the PO's are flagged, if the Guards were attacking in my defense? ESTEC 22:16, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

Bug?[edit]

After completing Dark Brotherhood questline, they still respawn is some places like old Brotherhood hideout, near Castle Dour and the big arch way in Solitude. They behave like generic NPCs. Some of them are hostile (flagged as red dot in your radar) but stand still and won't attack you. does the game forget to clean them from memory? Foxdie 13:38, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

(My first time adding something so let me know if I goof - Papahbear )
I believe this is a bug. I fought my way out after the assassination attempt and ran down the spiral to the bottom and out to the river beyond. From that point forward, the three PO guards I didn't kill are in various places in the stairwell. Though marked hostile, they do not interact with me at all, but it has made fast travel a bit inconvenient due to their proximity flagging me as in conflict, or enemies nearby. Running to your home is far enough away to fast travel.
I'm on Xbox so I don't have the nifty command line to fix things. I'll try to repo this bug and see if I can find a workaround..Papahbear (talk) 19:11, 27 October 2012 (GMT)

First Person Armor Bug[edit]

When wearing the Penitus Oculatus armor, the first person textures appear to be the regular Imperial Light Bracers for the bracers and the cuirass is the one worn by General Tullius. Anyone else having this issue?
