Bolt of yarn[edit]

"Bolt of yarn"? Fabric comes in bolts, yarn doesn't. It probably shows the writer's lack of knowledge, not Silus' though. 95.90.74.159 07:45, 18 February 2019 (UTC)

Just to confirm that that is what Silus says. And before anyone accuse you of having a go at one of our editors I assume your point is that the writer at Bethesda is at fault. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 19:29, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

Acquiring multiple robes, boots and gloves[edit]

I'm playing on the PS4, and I've managed to get multiple robes, boots and gloves of the Mythic Dawn set without using mods or creation club content. Basically, once the museum is opened during "Pieces of the Past", you sneak and pick all of the robes (including those being worn by Silus, by using Perfect Touch), then talk to him to get information on the first piece of the razor, acquire the piece, and return. The Display Cases may be filled again, and Silus may also be wearing his clothes again; sneak and pick them all again. If you give him the piece, get the next one and return, the same may happen once more. Rinse and repeat.

Once I got the quest started it took me a long time to ask him for the location of the first piece, and I'm pretty sure that also maybe the clothes respawn, since I have 7 boots, 7 gloves, 5 pieces of 00109c11 and 2 pieces of 000b144d (even managed to give my house's armory a Mythic Dawn theme, by using 4 sets without the hood and 1 set with the hood), so everything I mentioned may be connected with his house respawn time, and the fact that I was doing the quest was just a coincidence. I've also managed to get two copies of each "Mythic Dawn Commentaries" with this method.

Since I've played the game before, stole his house goods and they didn't respawn, I assume this effect is only triggered by stealing the clothes that he is wearing as well, but like I said, it may also just be the respawn time of the house.

If someone can check precisely how this is triggered, I think this would be an interesting piece of info to add into this page notes, since people could use that to make a Hearthfire house with a Mythic Dawn theme. I mean, I got enough clothes for all the mannequins in the armory, for the mannequin in the second floor, and for my personal steward. Even if I don't have a set for myself, I prefer to just use an enchanted Daedric set anyway. — Unsigned comment by 187.122.154.97 (talk) at 13:34 on 29 August 2021 (UTC)
