Have put in a small bit about the NPC on this page as it was blank. Also I feel that mentioning he takes over the shop after Lisbet's death is important as I do not believe he is marked as essential and could be killed prior to this thus depriving the player of a merchant with a substantial amount of gold. — Unsigned comment by Sigisbert (talkcontribs) at 03:29 on 1 January 2012

The game tracks who you killed. If lisbet died because you cleaned out the cannibals or some other player caused action, this NPC will know that and give you the "after all you did" bit. If she died from some other source, he should not (anyone?). Same goes for others. I wasted half the farmers and whatnot outside of whiterun as a werewolf and later the friends of them would respond in a similar fashion, even though there was no way to associate the spree with my player (no one saw me change).
Yes, they can both die. I am not sure they are at much risk from anything except the player, however, in this particular instance. In other towns, dragons often eat the merchants and leave you with no buyers. — Unsigned comment by 66.18.49.84 (talk) at 18:17 on 25 April 2012
During the Taste of Death quest, I killed Eola and escaped leaving everyone else alive. Lisbet (only her, no one else) chased me outside and I fast travelled to Markarth, a while later she showed up through the gate with her dagger drawn and in a rampage mode. However the guard patrolling around the gate killed her. I haven't got any comments from Imedhnain suggesting that I was in any way responsible for killing her. I tried killing her myself and he makes the comment about me wanting to do business with him after what I did. Hope this helps in deciding whether the game tracks who you kill and who dies due to other NPC or causes.--59.184.37.152 20:29, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

On his dialog[edit]

Hey,I just wanted to mention that he'll say the line ,"You want to talk to me,after everything you've done."Before the Taste of Death.I can confirm this as I killed Lisbet and he gave me the dialog, and I haven't even started the Taste of Death.--Skyrimplayer 13:15, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

According to CSList, the line "You want to talk to me? After everything you've done?" (0x00020b9c) is completely generic dialogue which can be said by many NPCs. NPCs say this to you if his/her disposition towards you is '-1'. I'll remove that line entirely as it isn't unique to any NPC. ~ Psylocke 13:25, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

Reference[edit]

Could he be a reference to the quasi famous youtuber Inmendham (he had an Encyclopedia Drammatica page)?

It's a weird name to come from nowhere.

I don't think so. "Imedhnain" and "Inmendham" are spelled quite differently and only sound similar. --Alfwyn (talk) 15:23, 1 December 2012 (GMT)

Imedhnain's Silver Necklace[edit]

Has anyone ran across this item? It seems to be a quest item but I'm not finding listed anywhere. The ID in my inventory is the same as normal locket of same type, 0009171B. Being that it's quested, I'm not able to drop, store, or sell it. — Unsigned comment by 208.53.115.151 (talk) at 11:09 on 9 August 2018
