Hair Slot Glitch?

(Xbox) I recently became guild master playing as an Altmer and encountered something odd that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere else. When I equipped my full set of Guild Master's armor, the hood did not appear on my head; instead, my hair took on a different, slicked back appearance. I tried equipping another piece of headgear and, lo, I had both the hood and the other item (Masque of Clavicus Vile, in this case) equipped. This only happened if I equipped the hood first and this seems to suggest that the hood occupies the "hair" slot, like the Penitus Oculatus Helmet and Falmer Helmets. I'm not sure if this is consistent or just a peculiarity of my own game. Any thoughts?

Update: Turns out there's some weird vampire interaction that causes this issue. I'm gonna go ahead and add that info to the relevant pages, namely Thieves Guild Hood and Guild Master's hood.
