Gemma's Suicide?![edit]

I'm in one of my play files and enter the Steamscorch Mine in Kynesgrove where I encounter Gemma on her way out of the mine. After mining, I began to ride my horse out of the town by way of the main path that leads to the road heading to Windhelm. Just past the chicken shed, on my right where the large outcropping of rocks are located, I spy Gemma dead, face down. It looks like she just walked off the top of the rocks and killed herself. Is this a glitch of her walking around? It seems very odd because the area with the tents where the miners sleep is walled off by the wicker fence, and the precipice she appears to have fallen from to die is far enough from the tent area that it seems very unusual for her to have wandered over that far. There are no enemies or beasts around, live or dead, to account for her death. Has anyone else encountered this? --Chocoholic (talk) 03:03, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

Gemma Uriel as Final Victim in 'Blood on the Ice'[edit]

On my main playthrough, while investigating the murder(s) in Windhelm during the quest Blood on the Ice, I discovered the body of Gemma Uriel in the Windhelm marketplace, near the corner stall. Weeks later, it's still in plain sight.

I had made the accusation to Jorleif that Wuunferth was the killer, and the quest ended. Some time later I received the appropriate new quest notification that the killer had struck again. When I received this quest update, while in the market area, I heard NPC's near me making remarks typical of finding a body. On inspection, I found the corpse of Gemma Uriel. I assumed this was the murderer's next victim; however, the article for Blood on the Ice states the final victim appropriate to this quest stage is Arivanya, near Candlehearth Hall. I have not noticed Arivanya's body anywhere. (The cell may have been cleared since that time.) Gemma Uriel's body, however, is persistent. At least a month has passed in-game, and her body remains, being commented on from time to time.

I later dragged the corpse into Oengul's forge for entertainment. NPC's occasionally step into the coals to remark what a shame this is.
