Brill has permanent corpse[edit]

Needs confirming, might just be my game, but I'm pretty sure Brill leaves a permanent corpse. After taking Battle for Whiterun (Stormcloaks), the next time I went to Whiterun, Brill was standing naked just in front of Breezehome and then collapsed dead. He had no possessions, so I just put the corpse in Breezehome and it's been there ever since even though other corpses have disappeared. — Unsigned comment by 199.127.249.197 (talk) at 17:41 on 7 February 2012 (UTC)

Same thing happened to me. As soon as I entered Whiterun, Brill was standing there naked and died. After several in-game days his body remained there so I dragged him behind someone's house. Not sure where this bug comes from.76.114.237.64 01:25, 28 November 2012 (GMT)

Proventius Avenicci replaces him as Steward if he dies?[edit]

Brill died and Proventius did not replace him. Can anyone verify if this is true?— Unsigned comment by Charlie1121 (talkcontribs) at 15:55 on 19 August 2012

I can verify. Brill died after the Stormcloak takeover and now there's no way to buy a child's room for Breezehome. 76.114.237.64 01:26, 28 November 2012 (GMT)

dragon menace[edit]

He has the option to ask him about the dragons before he becomes steward.— Unsigned comment by 82.73.72.148 (talk) at 17:42 on 20 January 2013

Bounty[edit]

Just out of randomness in one of my faffing about sessions, I attacked Brill - and a 40 bounty was added to the Reach. Huh? And then, when he died - 1000 bounty added to Eastmarch. What's going on? Is this a bug with his house location or something? Darxicus (talk) 16:23, 4 April 2014 (GMT)

I wanted to say it had something to do with some faction error due to his involvement with the Stormcloaks, but the Reach bounty is inexplicable. I would say it is a one-off, or somehow unique to your version. My own testing of this had me attack Brill, only to receive the correct bounty tied to Whiterun. If it isn't a mod-related issue, I cannot pinpoint it without serious testing. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 02:34, 5 April 2014 (GMT)
Also strange to note that the second time I tried it, both bounties got added to the Reach. Oh, Skyrim and your sometimes hilarious bugs... Darxicus (talk) 08:53, 5 April 2014 (GMT)
