Clearing bounty?

The bounty hunter claims they'll clear one's bounty in the hold if paid, does this actually stick?--C II R (talk) 19:23, 9 April 2014 (GMT)

The bounty hunters on this page cannot clear your bounty, they simply attack you. The bounty collector can clear your bounty in the hold, however, if they are paid. -AlphaAbsol (talk) 23:08, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
