Stats of summoned followers

Has anyone studied what health, etc stats the summoned followers have? The pages for the enemy versions show a range of stats dependent on player level. Are the followers leveled as well or are they all the same base amount per type? If leveled, do they stay at the level summoned or do they level with the player?
