There are several quests which are rewarded with Leveled Items, it may be worth avoiding these until at a higher level if one wishes to acquire the strongest possible version of the item. These quests (along with their rewards) are listed below for quick reference.

†This sword can be obtained from Mercer Frey's house and its level is determined when you enter the house for the first time.

‡The level that the armor pieces register is the level you are at the start of the quest Trinity Restored, not the moment the armor is received.

±There are seven different versions of the Amulet of Articulation and all are equally likely at all levels. You can get the highest one by repeatedly loading a save and talking to Brynjolf, though it may take some time.
