Bow of Shadows

The Bow of Shadows is an artifact of the Daedric Prince Nocturnal. It is acquired through the In the Shadows quest. Tempering the Bow of Shadows requires an Ebony Ingot and the Arcane Blacksmith perk.

Bugs

• The Bow of Shadows has no material keywords assigned, which results in no smithing specializations applying to it.
  • The Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Content Patches, version 6.4, fix this bug.
• The bow can suddenly stop making you invisible. In some cases, this may be caused by taking the Quick Shot perk, but it can occur without that perk as well.
  • If you've taken the Quick Shot perk, leveling your Archery skill to 100 and setting it Legendary may fix it.
  • Dropping it on the ground and picking it back up may fix the issue.
  • If you have the Gray Cowl, making that a favorite and then equipping it from there may fix it.
  • Saving and reloading may restore invisibility on a one-shot basis, but the problem will continue after that.
  • Using the console, enter player.removespell FExxx80B followed by player.addspell FExxx80B.
