Theories?

There are a couple of theories as to why the store carries the name it does. The first is that it is a tribute to Morrowind, in which only a single right Daedric Pauldron existed, being worn by Divayth Fyr, and so the only way to acquire a complete suit of Daedric armor was to kill him for it (although the pauldron did eventually turn up in Bloodmoon). The second is that it references the fact that Pauldrons do not exist separately in Oblivion as they did in Morrowind, but are instead merged with the cuirass.
