Whoa! Spoilers man! Add some tags! --UltimateCrouton 01:51, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

Actually, site policy is no spoiler tags. Right on the front page it says:
Because the site's purpose is to provide information, some of this content may contain spoilers. You may want to play the games our articles describe before exploring the site.
So if you don't want spoilers, don't read articles which might have potential spoilers in them. --TheRealLurlock Talk 09:21, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

The only true faction in SI is "The Court Of Madness", that you automatically join when you first enter the SI. On the 360, the first time you get the achievement, you'll be able to see that it's associated with the different ranks (your Character screen will also show this).

Mania and Dementia are "technically" all members of the Court Of Madness...only more like splinter groups in the same faction then legit ones on their own. Though you do join them and take over as head of one or the other, the game still treats it as the Court Of Madness (see the 360 achievements to confirm this.....Duke of Mania or Dementia are all considered ranks of the Court).

As for the Zealots and the Heretics....well it's kind of iffy if you want to call them factions or not. Their in game behavior kind of imply they work in much the same way as the various Goblin clans in Tamriel (or as the Grummites work as well, since they have their own bases). However, it is true that you can fool most (but not the leadership...aka the very high levels) of the people in these two groups by wearing their clothes and not drawing a weapon on them (and supposedly not getting face to face up close with them, according to the strat guide). Maybe just term them as "Non-Joinable" factions? 128.159.142.26 14:50, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

zealots--enemies?[edit]

Technically, wouldn't the zealots NOT be sheogorath's enemies if they think he is a god? -m'aiq the liar 08:14, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

Lack of information about main factions[edit]

I must say that I can't understand why you haven't added normal information about all factions listed in this article, along with other factions (I mean, in the same style). It's already done for stock Oblivion factions, so I think it should be done here too. Personally I mostly miss the lack of listed ranks from Aureal/Mazken factions. - ZuTheSkunk 22:31, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
