Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Reymanus Pelelius at Pelelius Manor in Anvil about duties and noises in the sewers.
2. Enter the Garden Quarter sewers through the Marina sewers.
3. Kill Carlonus Tarus in Vallanytha Grotto.
   • (OR, if member of the cult following The Drowned, ask the cult members to keep the noise down.)
4. Report back to Reymanus.

Detailed Walkthrough

Reymanus has heard reports of a possible cult in the Garden Quarter sewers, and wants you to investigate. If they're hostile, you're to clear them out. He'll give you the Garden Quarter Sewers Key to unlock the grate to that section. That grate is accessible through the Marina sewers, which themselves are accessible from a grate by Siralius Manor (next to Pelelius Manor).

Enter the Marina sewers and look for the passage to the Garden Quarter sewers in the southern part of the area. Behind a locked grate in the south part of the Garden sewers area are members of the Placid Drowner Cult. If you joined this cult during The Drowned, you can have a civil conversation - they'll promise to keep the noise down, and suggest that you lie to Reymanus. If you're not a cult member, they'll attack you, and you'll need to find and kill their leader before you can return to Reymanus to complete the quest. This leader, Carlonus Tarus is in Vallanytha Grotto, and the entrance to this is on the southeastern side of the Garden Quarter sewers.

Report back to Reymanus once Carlonus is dead (or the cultists have agreed to be quieter), and either tell him the truth or (if a cult member) lie to him. He'll give you 250 gold and two potions as a reward.

Notes

• Reymanus Pelelius disappears from his manor between 11pm and 8am, and so cannot be spoken to there between those times - see Well Met By Moonlight for details.
• Reymanus' disposition increases by different amounts (+10 or +5) depending on whether or not his sister still sits the throne of Anvil.

10		Reymanus Pelelius asked me to investigate noises in the Garden Quarter sewers that he believes are being caused by a cult. He authorized me to use force if the people located there were hostile. I can get to the Garden Quarter sewers through the Marina sewers, to which there is an access grate next to Siralius Manor.
15		The noises in the Garden Quarter sewers turned out to be coming from members of the Placid Drowner Cult, of which I am also a member. They suggested I just lie to Reymanus and said that they will try to make less noise.
100	Finishes quest	Reymanus Pelelius thanked me for dealing with the noises in the sewers.
