The Conomorus Crypt is the family tomb of the missing king of Anvil.
It is just west of the graveyard outside the city walls, and beyond scattered gemstones lacks items of value.
The crypt features during Ashes of the Missing. In this, you are sent by the Kingdom of Anvil's seneschal, Solvus Orrich, to deal with reported graverobbers. A Crumpled Letter on the body of one, signed P.V., indicates that the two were hired to search the crypt's southeastern chamber - the section that was reserved for the missing King Claudius. Solvus speculates that P.V. (possibly a kingdom noble named Polonius Victrus), was seeking to determine if the king was dead and had been secretly interred.
