Why is the potency column displayed as black on almost black (BG of CCC)?--Swordmage (talk) 07:24, 23 March 2014 (GMT)

I don't see that at all.... I see Black text on the normal blue background.... Jeancey (talk) 07:25, 23 March 2014 (GMT)
My normal background is off white (default skin) and the potency column for the essenses table looks black to me (to the point where I need to select all to even see that there are words in it). --Swordmage (talk) 07:50, 23 March 2014 (GMT)
I meant, normal background for a highlighted column. It's light blue. I'm not sure what your computer settings are at, but that's what the color is. Light blue. you can see the colors here. Jeancey (talk) 07:55, 23 March 2014 (GMT)
That's weird. When I change value from the short cut (#CCC) to the full hex format (#CCCCCC), I get a light blue as you expect. I am not sure why the shortcut works for anyone since it is should be interpreted as #000CCC. As far as I know, I have a fairly vanilla Windows box with IE 11 and I can't imagine I am the only one seeing this (I see that it works as you expect in Firefox). --Swordmage (talk) 08:13, 23 March 2014 (GMT)
Updated page using full hex codes. --Swordmage (talk) 08:18, 23 March 2014 (GMT)
I think the issue is that you are using Internet Explorer. That's just silly. Jeancey (talk) 08:29, 23 March 2014 (GMT)

Jaedi, Lire[edit]

What is the source for the existence of the Jaedi and Lire Essence Runes? They don't seem to be included in the "Translate all of the Essence Runes" achievement (only 17 there). --Alfwyn (talk) 09:40, 8 April 2014 (GMT)

I assume the image names, which exist but look unused. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 09:51, 8 April 2014 (GMT)
I've received one of each Lire and Jaedi essence runes, compared to tens of each of the other essence runes. I combined Jaedi and Jera and Ta and got a Petty Glyph of Bashing. For Lire I can't remember for sure but I think I received a glyph adding armor. In neither glyph creation was it revealed to me the translation for the Lire or Jaedi runestone. 198.48.133.36 02:03, 29 April 2014 (GMT)
They exist as rare drops and get sent by the Hireling, but are bugged - no matter how many glyphs you make from them, they never get translated. It's been suggested that they were left over from testing. baratron (talk) 18:28, 2 June 2014 (GMT)

Language?[edit]

A bit of a lore question here, does anyone have any idea which in-game language the runes are in? Daedric? Ehlnofex? Just interested. Norowane (talk) 17:30, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

See here. --Vordur Steel-Hammer (TINV1K) 17:59, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

Prismatic potency?[edit]

I observe that there seems to be a Prismatic Potency Rune through the fact that I lack it on achieving the Ruby Potency Achievement, but I do not find it on the page here. (Not to be confused with the Hakeijo Essence Rune.) —MortenOSlash (talk) 09:46, 19 June 2016 (UTC)

Or is it the same? That the Achievement is based on the Hakeijo Essence Rune, that is? —MortenOSlash (talk) 04:49, 3 August 2016 (UTC)

Potency Rune Level[edit]

The region based crafting mat level is history. For mats like wood and ore it was a mix of crafting level (50) and player level for me. That is I found highest (crafting) level and player level appropriate materials. Upon reaching champion 150/160 it is pure highest tier mats. But I leveled Enchanting and champion simultanously, so I can only guess it is the same for potency runes. --Alfwyn (talk) 02:04, 22 February 2020 (GMT)

Adding entries for Indeko essence stones[edit]

I started a sandbox for adding a new runestone, then wondered if these are more easily created with a bot. It's going to be a little tedious doing it while experimenting in game. --Xyzzy Talk 00:23, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
