While trying to touch the Brackenleaf's heart, Gaerthir and his Spirit Wolf will try to stop you.
Two Spirit Wolves are summoned alongside one Spirit Bear by The Forest King during combat in Skyreach Catacombs.

Skills and Abilities[edit]
- Bite
- A basic attack dealing minor physical damage.
- Rotbone
- The spirit wolf lunges and bites down hard, dealing moderate damage. This can be blocked to set the spirit wolf off-balance. (Grey wolves only)
- Helljoint
- The spirit wolf bites and holds onto its target, dealing constant low damage and immobilizing them. Bashing gets the spirit wolf off of its hold and puts them off-balance.
- Backstabber
- The spirit wolf has a passive ability that causes it to deal 20% more damage when attacking the target's back.
- Surround
- The spirit moves to attack from another position, most often to use the "Backstabber" ability.
