A brave Argonian nisswo has requested our help. They have lived for years in secret on a remote islet off the coast of Solstice. He claims their village is in danger from an approaching storm and seeks protection of a magical nature.
He believes we have changed. That we are no longer the evil necromancers who first conquered Solstice. I decided not to spoil his illusions.
9 Last Seed
The nisswo took us to his village and we spent the night with his people. This was my first opportunity to see life in an Argonian village firsthand, and the experience was exotic to say the least.
They gave us a warm, respectable welcome. It was obvious that some did not appreciate our presence, though. Our reputation from when we first arrived on Solstice remains unchanged.
The nisswo says the tides speak to him about the coming storm. That it will be terrible and swift. He asks that we cast a spell of protection across the islet.
There is an opportunity here. One that we must not lose sight of as we conclude our bargain.
12 Last Seed
The nisswo has accepted our terms. Naturally, he seems fearful. After all, bargaining away one's soul, even for altruistic purposes, is no slight endeavor.
13 Last Seed
The storm approaches and the ritual is prepared. Now to meet with the nisswo and seal our pact in blood.
