Ongalion will run a short ways to a nearby tree and put the ingredients into the soil:

Ongalion: "Root, earth, water, grow. Spirit of the Green, sprout and show."

Ongalion: "And we wait."

Suddenly a ghostly spriggan appears:

Nature Spirit: "Who disturbs me?"

Ongalion: "Excellent. Go ahead, my new friend. Speak to it."

Speak to the spirit:

"Something is different. Something has changed."

What are you?

"I am of the Green, of the dark and growing depths. My lifeblood pulses through the roots. My skin smells of loam."

Is the site in good health?

"For now. I sense a darkness, a growing corruption. If the grovetenders are kept away from their charge much longer … it may begin to … fade."

Do you know what happened to the city?

"Falinesti? It is gone, yes. I can sense its absence, like a hole in my heart. It still walks. Somewhere.
This land has greater worries."

"Down deep. Beneath the soil. Something locked away in stone and metal. A dark voice, whispering.
They heard her. Heard her whispers."

"The stone and metal, down in the depths beneath the soil. Locked away in darkness. Whispered, whispered to the keepers. Now quiet. The whisperer silent, again. Peace returns to the grove."
