Luahna

Luahna is a Redguard found meditating at the shrine in the center of the abbey within the Valley of Blades.

Dialogue[edit]

Her words will depend on who was chosen as the sacrifice during God of Schemes.

If you chose to sacrifice Sai Sahan on the quest God of Schemes, she'll be found praying at an altar Lyris made with her axe to honor him.

"Well met, warrior. Do you seek peace as well? Whenever I'm feeling anxious, I like to come here and meditate."
Is that Lyris Titanborn's axe?
"I believe so.
She visited the abbey, you know. After Blademaster Sai Sahan was … sacrificed. She never shed a tear, but I could see that her heart was broken. It was then that I knew she loved him."
Do you know why she left her ax?
"No, she never said. Perhaps she wished to leave something behind with it. Some part of herself.
It was Blademaster Sai who planted the snow lilies, I think. When he returned. It's so sad that he cannot go search for her."
Do you have any idea where Lyris went?
"I do not. Perhaps she went to Cyrodiil to help with the chaos, or perhaps she even made her way home to Skyrim.
I hope that Lyris and Blademaster Sai meet again one day. If this shrine says anything, it's how devoted they are to each other."

If you chose to sacrifice Lyris during God of Schemes, she'll be found praying at an altar Sai made with Lyris' axe to honor her.

Is that Lyris Titanborn's axe?
"Lyris Titanborn? Perhaps so. Blademaster Sai brought it back with him, after your fight with Molag Bal. I could see that his heart was broken, though he would not say why.
Did Lyris … did she survive your battle?"
No. She sacrificed herself, so that we could defeat Molag Bal.
"Then this shrine must be to honor her. How could it not?
When Blademaster Sai returned to us, he was broken. Empty. And I can't help but wonder if his desire to fight Dragons, to save Elsweyr, if that stems from a need to … forget her."
Sai made this shrine for Lyris, didn't he? That seems like a way to remember her.
"That is true. He even planted these flowers. Snow lilies, they're called.
So this shrine is to honor Lyris Titanborn …. The strength of an ax
[sic], the beauty of flowers. What a wonderful way to remember the person you love."

If you chose to sacrifice The Prophet, both Lyris and Sai will have come to the Abbey afterwards. However, Lyris will have left her axe behind after she suddenly left one day.

"Well met, warrior. Do you seek peace as well? Whenever I'm feeling anxious, I like to come here and meditate."
Is that Lyris Titanborn's axe?
"Yes, it is.
Lyris and Blademaster Sai Sahan returned to the Abbey of Blades to help us rebuild. And for some time, the two were quite happy. Their love for each other was as obvious as the sun in a cloudless sky."
But Lryis [sic] isn't here anymore, is she?
"She left the abbey one day, without a word. This ax was all that she left behind.
In a way, I wonder if she was also leaving behind a … a promise, I suppose. As if to say she would one day return."
How did Sai take her departure?
"Blademaster Sai never shed a tear, but I can see the sorrow in his eyes when he visits this shrine. It's easy to see how much he misses her.
I do hope they meet again one day. If this shrine says anything, it's how devoted they are to each other."

If you have not reached that point in the main quest, her dialogue is a little different.

"Well met, warrior. Do you seek peace as well? Whenever I'm feeling anxious, I like to come here and meditate."
What is this shrine?
"I'm honestly not sure. It is strange, isn't it? Why would someone display an ax in the Valley of Blades.
Blademaster Sai Sahan does come here to tend the snow lilies, but he's never been inclined to explain why."
Snow lilies?
"The white flowers growing around the shrine. They aren't native to Hammerfell, so they must have been imported. Or perhaps they were a gift?
They're hardy flowers, but he still makes a point to fuss over them."
Snow Lily is Sai's nickname for Lyris Titanborn. Could they be a gift from her?
"Blademaster Sai Sahan calls Lyris Titanborn … snow lily? Well, that does sound awfully romantic.
Perhaps this shrine is for her, then? The strength of steel, the beauty of flowers; a quiet devotion, away from prying eyes. Sounds lovely."
