Letter to Lady Weatherleah
I'm afraid I am at my wit's end. I am certain that the cook has started following me about the grounds. It seemed harmless at first, but our chance encounters have grown more numerous and so have his questions about my late husband's disappearance.
I do not know what's come over him, but I fear for my safety and yours. I believe it is time we let the cook go. I can begin the process of finding a replacement. Just say the word.
Ever grateful,
Pelena
