Letter to Bane of My Existence
A response to questions from a despised and deceased peer

To the Recently Deceased Wykishai,

I write in response to your inane questions which you so agreeably spat at me during our unfortunate last meeting. Please know that, even though I slaughtered you on the spot, I always endeavor to avoid you like the pustule that you are. The sight of your face incites me to swift and unbecoming violence. The very act of hearing your voice makes me contemplate dispatching myself with my own sword. And the very thought of standing once more in your presence produces enough agony from my heart to rival that of a mortal experiencing their final moments.

But I digress and shall return to the matter at hand. You dared to ask why the Channelers are so pervasive in the Ossein Cage. Do you suppose that just because I am the master of the Dolorous Cista that I am Molag Bal's appointed guardian of the Ossein Cage entire? No! I rue the day you were given the ability to speak for that was also the day you were assigned to me as my own personal torture device. I look forward to our next meeting only so that I can crush you beneath my boot and slice through the remaining viscera with my sword before watching you dissolve into an unrecognizable mess with the ravages of time.

The Channelers are here for the precise reason that they make traversal within the Ossein Cage more difficult. Do you not realize that all who succeed here do so with some derived means of traversal which does not rely on the bridges remaining intact? If you seriously want to impress upon us the merits of your creativity and usefulness, then learn to do as we do or die trying.

With the Channelers' assistance, we can more easily wring frustration from our victims. For what is frustration but another form of agony? This aligns with our plans to crush the mortal spirit and shatter their hope. Unless you forgot, but unlike those louts in the Deadlands who focus on the pains of the body, we know that suffering is more than just some aches and pains.

I hope this answers your question. Please refrain from speaking to me to again at any point in the future for I find your breath more odious than the Shapers of Flesh and your very being fills me with hatred.

I hope you enjoy none of your experience rebuilding yourself in the wastes of Oblivion,

Overfiend Kazpian
