Quest-Related Events[edit]
After arriving in Gideon to warn Councilor Vandacia of a threat to his life, you will learn that the Dark Brotherhood attack was thwarted and the would-be assassin imprisoned. When you go downstairs to the holding cell, you will find the assassin escaped and you need to chase him down.
Following the acid trail outside, various citizens will point you in the right direction. Golven Llendu will be standing next to an injured Legionnaire Veeska, and points you in the direction of the Twyllbek Ruins.
