The Imperial City Celebration Event (also called the Planemeld Palpitation) is a holiday event that typically takes place in the month of September. The main feature of this event is numerous drop are doubled, including: Tel Var Stones, Key Fragments, items dropped by Trove Scamps and Cunning Scamps and all boss loot.

In 2021 this event was combined into the Year One Celebration, together with with the Orsinium Celebration Event and a new concurrent Craglorn event.

Legion Zero Strongbox[edit]

During the 2020 event, these lockboxes were first made available and contain special rewards. A Glorious Legion Zero Strongbox can be earned once a day after completing an Imperial City district daily quest or defeating the final boss within the Imperial City Prison or White-Gold Tower dungeons.

After earning the glorious box, you can earn ordinary Legion Zero Strongboxes which can be found in chests, safeboxes or from defeating mobs and bosses.

Imperial City Celebration 2020[edit]

"Battle your fellow players and Daedra under the shadow of the White-Gold Tower during the Imperial City Celebration and you’ll earn bonus rewards and collectibles."

The 2020 Imperial City Celebration will run from September 3 to September 15, 2020. You will be able to earn bonus rewards from both the Imperial City PvP zone as well as the two related dungeons, White-Gold Tower and the Imperial City Prison.

This event introduced Legion Zero Strongboxes as rewards or loot during the event's duration. A Glorious Legion Zero Strongbox can be earned daily after your first time completing an Imperial City district daily quest or defeating the final boss within the Imperial City Prison or White-Gold Tower dungeons; these have a guaranteed chance to contain a page for the Xivkyn motif or the new Legion Zero Vigiles and Tools of Domination styles. After this, you can earn regular Legion Zero Strongboxes as random loot or from dungeon chests; these have a rare chance to contain a style page, mainly containing Tel Var Stones and minor rewards.

Three Event Tickets can be earned per day, after completing an Imperial City daily quest or defeating the final boss from the two Imperial City dungeons. The Impresario will sell bound pages for the Legion Zero Vigiles and Tools of Domination styles as well as the Indrik feathers and three of the berries needed for the Mossheart Indrik mount.

Furniture[edit]

Like the previous year's event, The Impresario will sell a selection of Imperial and Daedric Furnishings, some of which are not obtainable in-game as items or furnishing plans. These items are also account-bound and cannot be sold or traded.

Imperial City Celebration 2019[edit]

"Take the fight to the heart of the Empire during the Imperial City Celebration Event and you can acquire the DLC game pack free from the in-game Crown Store while earning bonus rewards!"

The Imperial City Celebration 2019 ran from September 5 to September 16, 2019. It was held to celebrate the free release of the Imperial City DLC. The event was similar to the previous years, but with a few additions.

Two Event Tickets per account per day were available, earned by defeating the either an Imperial Sewer or District World Boss, Coldharbour Elite Guard or the last boss of White-Gold Tower or Imperial City Prison. A total of 24 tickets were available. This celebration was also the first opportunity to earn Onyx Berries of Growth for the Onyx Indrik evolution. In addition, a select group of Daedric-themed Furnishings, the Stonefire Scamp pet, and the Soul-Shriven skin were made available at The Impresario.

The Imperial City Collector's Bundle was available for 3,000 crowns. Other items available in the Crown Store during the event were:

The Imperial City Celebration ran 2018 from September 6 to September 17, 2018. It was held to celebrate the three year anniversary of the Imperial City DLC release. The event was identical to the previous year in every way.

During the event period the DLC game pack was available for 1,250 Crowns - a 50% discount. The Imperial City Collector's Bundle was available for 2,200 crowns - a 60% discount.

Imperial City Celebration 2017[edit]

Planemeld Palpitation 2016[edit]

Time folds, reality shivers, and opportunities that have passed are available again. But this warp event won't last, so act now, and grab your chance while you can!"

The inaugural Imperial City Celebration ran 2016 from August 29 to September 7, 2016. It was held to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Imperial City DLC release. Known as the "Planemeld Palpitation" event, it was held primarily in the Imperial City.

During the event the drop rate of Tel Var Stones was doubled, as were the chances of obtaining the Soul-Shriven Skin and Stonefire Scamp collectibles from defeating the Simulacrum of Molag Bal. The event was originally to end on September 6 but was extended for a day.
