Skills and Abilities[edit]

As a boss rank enemy, Hessedaz the Baleful is immune to crowd control. The Mirrorplasms it summons are also immune to crowd control.

Quick Strike
Basic melee attack dealing moderate-high physical damage.
Heavy Strike
A charged melee attack dealing high physical damage and applying a weak snare for 1 second. This can be blocked to negate the snare and to stagger Hessedaz
Shard Volley
Hessedaz summons a rain of glass in three parts, first dealing moderate physical damage in an area, then twice that damage in a larger main area with two smaller areas at each side, then triple the base damage in a main area with four smaller areas in a square shape around the main area. All parts of this ability apply a weak snare for 1 second on hit.
Shockwave
Hessedaz forms a glass mace with its right arm and smashes a target which creates a pillar of glass on the ground, dealing moderate-high physical damage to the target. A shockwave of glass then happens and expands outwards, dealing moderate-high magic damage. The shockwave part doesn't have indicators and can hit multiple times while a growing area indicator can be seen which only indicates when the stockwave part will happen and is not its hitbox.
Shield Charge
Hessedaz steps back and forms a glass shield with its right arm then charges by sliding forward, dealing high physical damage and staggering targets hit. This can be blocked to negate the stagger.Through the whole ability, Hessedaz blocks the attacks made against it which greatly reduces its damage taken and makes players who attempt to melee heavy attack it to be set off balance.
Reconstruction
At 80%, 60% and 40% Health, Hessedaz dissolves into 4, 6 and 8 bolts of energy which spread around the area, dealing 5% of your Current Health in oblivion damage in their wake and finally each one summoning a Mirrorplasm. In this state Hessedaz can cast "Shard Eruption". The Mirrorplasms do not attack directly and only slowly move towards the center. When all Mirrorplasm are either dead or at the center, Hessedaz forms back by absorbing each Mirrorplasm that has reached the center healing it for 5% of its Max Health (so 217,990). Each threshold happens only once, even if Hessedaz heals back over that threshold.
Shard Eruption
When Hessedaz is in the dissolved state, he casts a weaker form of "Shard Volley". Only the first and third part are used, the first part's area is smaller and they deal very minor and low physical damage. All parts of this ability apply a weak snare for 1 second.
Shard Collapse
When you kill a Mirrorplasm, four bolts of energy identical to the ones in "Reconstruction" emerge in a cross pattern from them, dealing 5% of your Current Health in oblivion damage to targets in their wake.
