The Enchanter is the ghost of an Ayleid, who used magic to turn several Ayleid knights against their liege lord hundreds of years ago. The Enchanter eventually used magic to preserve himself after death. He continues to haunt the Loriasel ruin, located in modern-day Shadowfen.

Quest-Related Events[edit]
You will speak to the spirit who will wonder why you're in the ruins:
- "You bear the implements of my thralls, yet skin and sinew drape your bones.
You're more than a wandering collection of ritual components. But what, precisely?"
Speak to the Ayleid Knight and convince him he's not obligated to obey the Enchanter and the Ayleid Knight will turn on him, slaying him:
- Enchanter: "How dare you stand in my presence! Show deference to your new liege lord!"
- Ayleid Knight: "I deny your claim upon me. Begone, foul trickster!"
