Elannie

Elannie is a High Elf resident of Dawnbreak and Almion's daughter. She is one of the citizens you should send to safety in Through the Ashes, and can be found inside her house. She is mostly concerned with the wellbeing of her father, however, as she can even be heard praying.

Through the Ashes[edit]

First time you enter inside her home, she will be praying and will either say:

Elannie: "Y'ffre, protect my father in this time of trouble."
Elannie: "Xarxes hold my father secret, and safe."
Elannie: "Auri-El, keep my father safe."
Elannie: "Stendarr, please bring my father home."

Speaking to her:

"My poor father. Damn the Daedra!"
It's dangerous here. You need to get out.
"I can't. I promised Father I'd wait for him. I won't leave without him!"
[Persuade] He wouldn't want you to die here, waiting for him.
"I... you're right.
Please, find him. His name is Almion. Tell him I've evacuated?"
I will. Just get going.
Where is he?
"He went to check on Pirtar. I think we heard his house collapse! Poor man.
Please, find my father. His name is Almion."
I'll be back.

Speaking to her again when you go look for him:

"I hope he's all right."

Find Almion's body, then return to her.

"Did you find him?"
I'm sorry, but your father is dead. I found his pendant.
"No! It can't be true. It can't. He... he was just here.
Fine. Fine, I'll go."
The soldiers will keep you safe.

If you found her father's body prior before finding her:

"My poor father. Damn the Daedra!"
You need to leave.
"I can't. I promised Father I'd wait for him. I won't leave until he returns."
I'm sorry, but your father is dead. I found his pendant.
"No! It can't be true. It can't! He—he was just here.
Fine. Fine, I'll go."
Take the pendant and head out of town. I'm sorry, Elannie.

After finishing the quest, she is found on the streets, grieving above her father's body.

"The Eight watch over my poor father."
