Dralnas Moryon

Dralnas Moryon is a Dark Elf soul-shriven found near the entrance in the Wailing Maw. He was a victim of the experiment performed by the Deathbringer Dremora, they fed his soul to the Soul Anguish gem among many others and now he is the only one left.

Quest-Related Events

As you approach him after entering the delve, you can hear him say:

"That thing ate my soul!"

Talk to him to see what is wrong.

"My soul! They've taken my soul!"

Tell me what happened.

"They took our souls. They fed them to some sort of Anguish Gem and now I'm the only one left.
Can you destroy the gem before I wind up like the rest of these wretches?"

I'll destroy the gem.

"The Anguish Gem is just beyond this door, but it's barred from the other side. You need to go all the way around."

Is there anything else I need to know?

"Some rather nasty things lurk in these caves. You need to be careful."

Once you have traversed the cavern and destroyed the Anguish Gem, you can return to Dralnas.

"You destroyed the Anguish Gem, didn't you? I feel different somehow."

I destroyed the gem.

"You did? I knew it! That's wonderful! I can't thank you enough.
Now I won't wind up like the rest of these poor wretches. I have my soul back and I'm getting out of here!"

Speaking with him again before he leaves:

"Thanks to you, my soul is back where it belongs."

After handing you some gold and some gloves, Dralnas will run out of the cave.
