Covenant Worker

Covenant Workers are Daggerfall Covenant civilians who can be found working the various Covenant-controlled resources surrounding keeps in Cyrodiil. Each worker transports a gathered resource into the storehouses, which affects various aspects of the keep and the health of its guards. Every trip from the field/lumberyard/mine back to the main resource area contributes to the main keep's guards' Health, door strength, and wall strength respectively. Resource Upgrades exist to increase the effectiveness of each Worker.

They are armed with daggers, which they will use to attack Aldmeri Dominion or Ebonheart Pact players with. If a resource is captured by an enemy faction, they will be near instantly replaced by Dominion or Pact workers. They can be Bretons, Orcs, or Redguards.

Skills and Abilities[edit]

As alliance guards, the Workers benefit from the nearby Resource upgrades.

Quick Strike
A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
Heavy Attack
A heavy melee attack that does moderate physical damage. It can be blocked to set Covenant Worker off balance.
Throw Dagger
Covenant Worker backs away from their target and throws a dagger at them. This attack snares, deals minor physical damage then very minor bleed damage over time. This attack can be interrupted to set Covenant Worker off balance. The dagger can be blocked to prevent the snare and the bleed.
Ignite
A combo move that is only performed if Archers, Fire Mages or other fire using enemies (Flame Atronachs, Scamps etc.) are around. Covenant Worker throws a glob of tar under the player's feet as indicated by a red circle. While this does no damage, standing in it will snare the player. The Covenant Worker will call for the other enemy to light the tar (usually accompanied by a voice clip) and the red circle will burn, doing moderate flame damage over time to enemies within the red circle.
War Horn
Very rarely, Covenant Worker blows a war horn, increasing the health of their nearby allies and themselves.
Caltrops
Very rarely, Covenant Worker casts a Caltrops-like ability which deals continuous minor physical damage and snares in an area.
