Skills and Abilities[edit]

Quick Strike
A basic melee attack that deals low physical damage.
Lacerate
A charged melee attack that deals high physical damage and staggers the affected target. This can be blocked to stagger Brineclaw.
Cleave
Brineclaw swings its blade, indicated by a red cone, dealing low physical damage and snaring affected targets.
Whirlpool
Brineclaw plunges its sword into the ground, causing a pool of swirling waters, indicated by a red circle, to shoot out and appear at a target's location, dealing continuous low magical damage and snaring targets standing inside.
Screech
Brineclaw rears up, as a wide red cone appears, then releases a magically-infused shriek, dealing low magical damage and knocking down affected targets.
Flurry
Brineclaw attacks with a series of four rapid strikes, indicated by small red cone, that each deal low physical damage and snare affected targets.
Flip
If standing far away from targets, Brineclaw performs a spinning lunge through the air at one of them, indicated by a red circle around them, dealing moderate physical damage.
Runt Quake
Brineclaw raises its sword up and performs a spell that sends out three tremors outward, indicated by red circles, which deal low physical damage and stagger affected targets. After a short while, the tremors end and creatures are summoned to assist Brineclaw. These can consist of Coral Crabs, Hadolid Peelers, and Hadolid Tidecallers.
Empower
Brineclaw empowers its nearby allies, increasing their damage and restoring them to full health, as well as increasing their total amount slightly.
Swarm
When Brineclaw dies, a massive swarm of very weak Coral Crabs appears and attacks targets.
