Burn the villagers' corpses before they rise as vampires
Two Weynon villagers were taken by the vampires of Lipsand Tarn. Mael fears they are dead and about to rise as bloodfiends.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Speak with Mael.
  2. Burn the villagers' corpses.
  3. Return to Mael.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Assistance is required for two friends of Mael who were recently kidnapped by vampires and taken to the ruins of Lipsand Tarn. He fears that they are already dead, but if they cannot be saved then he would like you to burn their bodies.

Travel to Lipsand Tarn and make your way to the room in the southern portion of the ruins where the bodies are being held. You will find them each on top of a stone table. When you have set both bodies ablaze, return to Mael to inform him of the news and collect your reward.

Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
