The Skeletal Structure of a Man[edit]

I believe the Akaviri Diary Translation from the Lifting the Vale quest explains this would-be mystery well enough. The Diary says that both the author, Xhaferi, and Sylaj, the messenger he encounters, have legs. This suggests that some of the soldiers of Akavir (Tsaesci, specifically, but perhaps the other kingdoms as well) at the time of the invasion were still human, meaning that they had not yet been "eaten" by the snake-people of Akavir. Or it could just be Bethesda working with what they had in the first place for undead (skeletons in human form).--Kalis AgeaYes? Contrib E-mail 20:28, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

I thought when the snakes ate them they became them, would that not mean their bone structure also changes? Wolfy 20:35, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
Yes, but exactly when they "ate" the men of Akavir is never specified; I believe that this diary, being a first-hand account, substantiates the claim that they "ate" them after this invasion, which was in the late First Era. Also note that the term "eaten" can also be taken metaphorically, as in "assimilated" or that they simply disappeared.--Kalis AgeaYes? Contrib E-mail 20:38, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
