Notes[edit]

(moved from the article)

  • Tumindil will inadvertently cast a "Turn Undead" spell when provoked, which does no damage to your character. He will simply run a distance away from your attacking character if assaulted and continuously cast the spell. A PC with the birth sign of the Atronach will benefit from this unfortunate spell choice because it does no damage and your character will gain 50% of the magicka. You can stand still doing nothing and gain back MP while he tries frantically to defeat you. Humorously he will sometimes say, "Had enough?!" making the scene quite comedic as your character yawns apathetically whilst sitting on the chapel bench.
  • When asked about the "Priest" or "Anvil Chapel attack" the vocal dialogue is noticeably less defined than the rest, a more softer, farther way sounding voice than his casual non-expansion related speech. This most likely due to the time frame between the original Oblivion release and the Knights of the Nine expansion release causing voice recording variables to play in affect to the noticeable change.
  • This voice change can be assumed to be present in other NPC dialogue dealing with Knights of the Nine topics, but is not yet confirmed.
I don't believe any of this is important enough to merit a place on the article. Most of it seems like typical NPC behaviour. rpeh •TCE 04:46, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
are you an idiot? Typical npc behaviour isnt using completely useless spells that dont affect the player, last time I checked when an npc goes aggressive they actually try to do damage not spam useless spells...and since when is knowing a characters clothing useful either hypocrite.
I'm not an idiot, I'm just somebody who knows more about Oblivion than you do. Any NPC with a Turn Undead spell might cast it at you because they don't discriminate between different types of hostile spell. That's why I call it "typical NPC behaviour".
The fact you don't know this simply further demonstrates your ignorance. rpeh •TCE 07:29, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
