Oblivion talk:Schlera Sestius

Bug and Name[edit]

While checking the schedule for her I came across two unusual features:

  • In the CS she is listed as Schlerus Sestius; would this imply she was originally supposted to be a man? And is the in-game name Schlera or Schlerus?
  • Secondly, her sleeping bug, which I tried to answer as best as possible in the Bugs section on the page. It is, however, my own speculation and I would recommend someone to check it. --SerCenKing 17:45, 7 March 2009 (EST)

Another Bug?[edit]

I visited Pell's Gate and spoke to Schlera. While completing The Ultimate Heist I activated the quest update by selecting the door back to the Hall of Epochs, then paid gold to a guard in order to get out (I always do this). After I had paid the gold and was taken to the Imperial City prison, Schlera was there. Does this mean she is prone to this glitch and if so does anybody know the cause (apart from speaking to her at Pell's Gate)? — Unsigned comment by 77.101.105.207 (talk) at 13:34 on 3 June 2010

I wanted to confirm this bug as well, this happens on the 360 version as well as the Oblivion Remaster in 2025. I was visiting Pell in search of scrolls from the innkeeper and fast traveled to IC and got jailed then she appeared. I speculate this happens to any NPC for multiple reasons that can be replicated, The player caused way for example with Porkchop after winning the last fight with porkchop in arena and before leaving if you cast command creature and exit then get jailed he appears outside with you and hostile. The less known way this happens with some \ any NPC like in hackdirt for example is a script bug, a cultist will follow you until you manually leave hackdirt and if you fast travel while his follow script is active he will teleport. Another way this can happen is using command spells on any npc and fast traveling (this will cause the npc its used on to walk cyrodil in a bee line towards the player (can observe this phenomena with multiple quest pinned npcs) but they never move much and by the time you realize it after waiting or being jailed long enough the npc will catch up to you and either pop up hostile or friendly depending on aggro stats?) The other way this might happen that I cant confirm is if a npc targets you for radiant dialogue or possibly a follower and then fast travel this might make them search for you until you are jailed or wait several in game days and they catch up. Ive had npcs from bruma actually walk through IC to approach me then leave back to bruma im guessing this issue happens alot naturally but no one stays in a cell long enough for the npc to catchup via walking [Apologies for not knowing how to edit I just made an account any tips on data entry help if you want to edit errors feel free i have discovered some answers to bugs and refined some exploits as well]-JH

Inventory: Magic Arrows.[edit]

Schlera can be pickpocketed and she has quite the special arrow. The Stormcall arrow does 10 points of shock damage for 2 seconds. She has other magical arrows as well. The reason I came to this page was to see if they re-spawn should I pick her pocket of the arrows. --Alaston 12:36, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

According to the Ammunition page, Stormcall arrows do 30 for 2 seconds. --Brf 14:43, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
She doesn't necessarily have the Stormcall arrow - it's random. She has a complicated leveled list of arrows, and it's possible she has the same arrow problem as S'razirr. rpeh •TCE 15:13, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
