Arrow glitch[edit]

I have never entered his house before but when I went to his basement a glitched arrow was floating on the stairs. Is this unique to my file or has anyone else experienced this?

Just tested this, and there's no arrow in any of my games. Sounds like a one-off glitch to me - still, it would be interesting to hear other peoples experiences... Krusty 08:13, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
What kind of arrow? The sort of arrow you fire with a bow, or an image of an arrow? Or something else? –rpehTCE 08:16, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Aggressive Rimulas[edit]

Is there a reason for Rimulas' abnormally high Aggression? One simply has to enter his house to incur his wrath. Whilst Rimulas doesn't offer any services and nor is he related to any quests, should it not be noted on the his page (alongside the note about him attacking his wife) that he will assault the player (and presumably anyone else he were to come into contact with). Also I've never seen him in town, does he ever leave the house? AzureSN 07:42, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

I think it's that whole faction thing that makes him attack the player. If you kill the wife, there is absolutely no problems, even when trespassing. As for your other question; I just watched him stand next to his bed for an entire day, so no - he doesn't leave the house, unless he has some kind of wird "follow"-package or something. And even if he was programmed to follow his wife he would probably attack them and get killed anyway. Would be interesting to see some CS packages for this guy. I'll alert the CS people. --Krusty 11:49, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

Weird[edit]

I was training my Security skill while waiting for the stores to open, so I picked the lock on his house then went right back outside. Soon after I went outside, Rimulus came out of his house and the town guards attacked him to death. Strange.--Julia 16:23, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Rimalus is very bugged in several ways. Take a look at the topic above or the bugs section on the article. --Krusty 16:27, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

So much detail[edit]

I woke up this morning with the name of this guy stuck in my mind. Rimalus Bruiant, why is it so catchy? I've not played oblivion in about eight years yet i still remember this random NPC

I found this page through google, couldnt even remember what the name was for at first. I'm surprised to find so much detail. His entire schedule, behaviour and dialog lines transcribed onto this page. Why do we care so much about virtual people? I'm not sure whether to be impressed — Unsigned comment by 82.69.100.180 (talk) at 13:38 on 25 February 2018

I would say impressed and thankful that other people have taken the time to investigate this NPC, just as I was before I joined as a contributor to give something back to those who had helped me. While he may not be important in the game, his seemingly always dead status would be perplexing and raise questions, so they come here and see the exact reason why he rarely gets to live a full day in the game.
