External Chest[edit]

External Area: Treasure chest on roof of ruin above the door access tunnel. Not sure what type of chest as I am using PS3 game — Unsigned comment by Bigdgaff (talkcontribs)

It's a WildernessChest02. See the discussion on another one here. –RpehTCE 05:57, 5 April 2008 (EDT)

Vampire Lord?[edit]

Is it true that theres a vampire lord in it? If not, then wheres the Ayleid Ruin with the Vampire Lord? Im looking forward to hunt him.

I saw a couple of videos HOW TO kill a vampire lord. I saw its quite dificult. I dont know where is the Ayleid Ruin Any help?

Thanks. — Unsigned comment by Pedrado (talkcontribs) on 22 August 2008

There's no "Vampire Lord" anywhere in the game so what you saw must have come from a mod. –RpehTCE 01:42, 23 August 2008 (EDT)

=/ Thanks anyway.

Light Through The Darkness[edit]

I do not know if this a mod quest or what but I got it near the start of the game and have gone through the dungeon to find the sword. Got the sword but it needs reconsicrating, but unlike KotN Cheydinhal does not do the trick... will continue to try figure this out. (maybe ooo quest or unofficial patch quest as I only have the UESP recomended mods installed, and not all of them at that)— Unsigned comment by 125.239.212.54 (talk) at 21:06 on 24 August 2009

That's definitely a mod quest, it doesn't exist in the vanilla game, so I can't help you there.--Mptrj 21:15, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
UPDATE: Apparently you have to kill 300 Vampires with the sword in order to fix it. Gonna give it a shot then will update as to if this works, also I beleive it is actually part of the OOO Mod.— Unsigned comment by 125.239.212.54 (talk) at 21:06 on 24 August 2009
Yes, the sword, the book that describes it, and the vampire lord who is guarding it are all added by OOO. --Gaebrial 06:42, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
OK here's the final update> Indeed yes it is an OOO Mod and yes it is also true that you have to kill 300 vamps to fully restore the sword (which will then destroy vamps on-hit and has an attack rating of 50). You can use the console to cheat if you want using "set 000ModVampDeadCount to 300". Also worthy of noting that the sword damage will increase for each 100 vamps killed so essentially has 3 levels of upgrades, but the last one is the real winner. I hope this helps others that got stuck as I did! — Unsigned comment by 222.155.26.152 (talk) on 30 August 2009

A missing roof pane. Object ID, anyone?[edit]

In the first zone of the Ayleid ruin of Nornalhorst, above the second set of stairs, there seems to be a MISSING cell(a roof pane) to be exact. I have deleted my character but it may be that I myself have disabled it by accident. I was wondering if anyone has the missing reference ID or Object ID.

To be as specific as possible, it is the second set of stairs to the right the overhead walkway and the missing roof pane/cell is right above the top of those stairs, the one in front of the pane holding the welkynd stone chandelier. The stairs themselves will take you to a welkynd lit hallway.

Here are the object ID for the ones surrounding it.000a43ab the one behind with the welkynd chandelier. 000a439d the one in front of it.000a43b0 to the left000a43a1 to the right. The missing cell/roof pane in in between these one. Can anyone please find the object ID.

I have deleted my old character and started a new game and it is still missing.Alex (talk) 10:54, 1 February 2014 (GMT)

Vampire hunters[edit]

I (very unexpectedly) ran into Eridor and his band of vampire hunters (from "Information at a Price") here (after I'd completed that quest and convinced them to leave). Is this normal? If so, it seems it should be documented. --Fru1tbat (talk) 02:20, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
