Research Needed[edit]

There is no way I'm going to be able to achieve all the info I need for this project. This is a giant place to map out and gather information. Since my PC CD for oblivion won't work, all of my research must be done by console. Minus what I can gather using the construction set.
I encourage anyone to help with this, but I will eventually have it all put together in a week or so. Western3589 04:26, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Console Location Codes[edit]

  • Exteriors: Paradise01, Paradise02, Paradise03, Paradise04, ParadisePlayerStart, ParadiseStart, ParadiseGazebo, ParadiseGrottoEntrance, ParadiseHilltop, ParadiseMiddle, ParadiseMinotaurCaveExterior, ParadiseRespawn02, ParadiseRespawn03, ParadiseEnd
  • Forbidden Grotto: ParadiseGrotto01, ParadiseGrotto02, ParadiseGrotto03
  • Carac Agaialor: ParadiseCamoranFortress
  • Anaxes Cave: ParadiseAnaxesCave

For the article and also for anyone that is going to check the place on the PC. --Wizy (Talk/Contribs) 05:20, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Thank you very much Western3589 05:25, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Added Info[edit]

I added info on some of the important treasure found here. Boss level chests and such are still absent. I also removed the varla and welkynd stone sections, as there aren't any. Legoless 22:12, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

I think the staff and the robe should not be included as treasures or even mentioned in the page about the place, being that are carried by a NPC. --Wizy (Talk/Contribs) 00:59, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
Perhaps, but they are unique items. If they are to be removed, please remove Purging Flame as well (Kathutet's sword). Legoless 17:16, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Ascended Immortal[edit]

Should we add some text about Ascended Immortals? Maybe tell that they habite the paradise, were to find them and how many of them there are.--Archain 21:14, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

There's already the Ascended Immortal page for that kind of thing. It needs quite a bit of work, though. rpeh •TCE 09:48, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
I know that there is a page on it, but we could just add a sentence or something witch tells that they can be found in the paradise. --Archain 12:10, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
No need for that. Just add them to the 'occupants' box. Legoless 12:12, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Maps?[edit]

Maybe we should have maps of the savage garden, lair of Anaxes and the forbidden grotto? --Archain 17:58, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

That's what I was thinking. The savage garden is just part of the exterior, but the two cave systems should be documented similar to other dungeons. Legoless 18:46, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
The second header template marks it as being under the construction of the OPRP. Adding the maps of these caves is part of that, please see the Oblivion Places Redesign Project for more information.--Corevette789 18:49, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
(edit conflict) Definitely. Can you do me a favour though: stop making requests in the form of questions, because it's a little annoying. It's perfectly fine to say "We need to have maps". Don't get me wrong here - you're helping make the page better, which is great... it's just the style that's a little grating. For future reference, we have the {{NeedsMap}} template that you can add when an article needs a map, and there's also {{NeedsImage}}, which should probably go on too. rpeh •TCE 18:50, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
Ok sorry. I am new, but learn things every day. Thanks for telling me, ill remember next time.--Archain 19:00, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

Info[edit]

I will add some more info on this page. If there are things you disagree with me in, please tell me here. --Archain 16:26, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Those were useful additions, but next time please edit the article as a whole for small things like that. Then you won't need to edit each section separately, which will prevent cluttering the recent changes. Legoless 17:44, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
Ok ill remember, and thanks for helping me making the sentences better! --Archain 17:49, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

I added a sentence about that you can get unlimted items from Raven and Ruma because they respawn. It was removed, and i understand that since it didn`t realy fit in when i think of it. Maybe i should either add it to notes, or maybe not. Give me your thoughts. --Archain 21:41, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

It's already noted on the quest page. It doesn't have any relevance to the actual place - in fact, neither does the sentence about them respawning until we get a map up there that shows their respawn locations. Legoless 21:44, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
Ok, but we could just let it be there until we get a map. By the way, i dont now how to get maps like that, do you think you can get it? --Archain 21:57, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
It will be done. Legoless 22:10, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Detail About Daylight[edit]

Hey yo, Adrianne, this is KneelBeforeZod, from the forums. Trying to make a name here nearly crashed my poor Compaq, so I'm doing this incognito. But umm, a small detail about this place is, the daylight of Paradise doesn't bother a vampire. Just thought I'd point that out, didn't see it on the page.— Unsigned comment by 98.95.198.147 (talk) at 00:04 on 7 April 2011 (UTC)

Coulda sworn I saw that somewhere...But anyway, this page needs a lot of additions. That will definitely be noted though eventually... --DKong27 Talk Cont 00:07, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
I know I made a note of this in my Sun damage sandbox but besides that I don't know where that note might of been. Still, as Dkong said that'll probably be mentioned as this page becomes move developed. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 00:15, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

Travel via console[edit]

What if you tried to travel to Gaiar Alata via console after the main quest? Better to ask first. 212.186.15.63 12:03, 18 September 2020 (UTC)

Should be fine, although I don't know what will happen if you enter the throne room again. Try it out! —Legoless (talk) 12:44, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
It works. Paradise02 brings you to the summit near Carac Agaialor as if you exited the grotto. If you enter the palace you can't leave it for the gates seem to be sealed. You can use the cheat again then. If you use Paradise01 you get to the front of the entrance of Carac Agaialor but you'd have to use the tcl command to free yourself first. 212.186.15.63 14:29, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
