Another one bugged?[edit]

This time, when I was researching his schedule, I found something really weird, neither he or Nermus the Mooch eat. They only directed to their bedrolls but then they just stood there. Could someone with access to the CS verify if they were intended to not eat or if the are bugged, please? --MC S'drassa T2M 22:20, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

No bug here, its simply standard Beggar eat package. Basically, the AI package is set as 'Find' with location data 'Editor Location' and a radius of 256. What this means is that he will start to look for food from an Editor Location (presumably bedroll or foodsack) and continue in the limits of the radius. If he finds any, he eats it, if he doesn't, he just stand there until his next package kicks in. --SerCenKing Talk 22:36, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Then I think I just found a glitch on my game, because there was food in his sack. I have tried it twice and I even gave Nermus a piece of bread (he also had a leek in his sack, but for some reason he didn't grab it). --MC S'drassa T2M 22:41, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Sorry to ask this, but could someone see in-game if this actually happens? I'm asking this because I just tried it with another saved file and same thing happened (there was food in his bag but he didn't grab it) and I need to know what exactly happens before posting something else. --MC S'drassa T2M 23:15, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

I just tested both beggars in-game and you are indeed correct – they never eat. I tried on several different levels, tried to shower the bedroll areas with food and even tried to reverse pickpocket a poisoned apple – but no eating. I don’t know what is causing this, but it seems like a bug, especially given SerCenKing’s observations a few lines above. --Krusty 10:08, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
It's not an eat package - it's a find package. Most beggars do have an "eat" - typically between 6pm and 8pm but Kaslowyn doesn't. He'll seek food out if he doesn't have any, but he will never eat it. –rpehTCE 20:06, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
Ahh, right. I noticed the different 'type' but I supposed that we would eat once he found the food! --SerCenKing Talk 21:10, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
