  • I recommend doing this quest at a high level, just for the fact that you can get a FULL set of the heavy armour set at your level. Remember:
Weapon availability: (lvl) Armour avalibility (lvl)
   Weapons:
 * Iron: lvl 1 Light Armor:
 * Steel: lvl 2 Fur Armor: lvl 1
 * silver: lvl 4 Leather Armor: lvl 3
 * dwarven: lvl 6 Chain Armor: lvl 6
 * elven: lvl 9 Mithril Armor: lvl 10

   Heavy Armor: (lvl)

   Dwarven Armor: lvl 6
   Orcish Armor: lvl 10
   Ebony Armor: lvl 15
   Daedric Armor: lvl 20

I've moved this comment off of the page. At high levels, you'll pick up Daedric Armor wherever you go. Perhaps not a full set in a single place, but nevertheless it won't take too long to find it. Furthermore, waiting until high levels to do Azura's quest means that you won't get Azura's Star until then; I think the benefits of Azura's Star at much earlier levels far outweigh the benefits of getting one set of non-magical armor.--Nephele 12:52, 13 July 2006 (EDT)

Oblivion Gate[edit]

Is it a given, that an Oblivion Gate will be at the place marked on the exterior map? To be truthful, there's been one there each time I've done the Azura quest...but what if a player doesn't enter that cell until after the Main Quest is complete? ComaDivine 13:24, 7 October 2008 (EDT)

Nope. See Oblivion:Oblivion Gates for information about when gates appear. This gate is random, like most of the others. –RpehTCE 13:39, 7 October 2008 (EDT)
Yeah, I realise it is a random gate, but the article says: "1 Oblivion Gate is at location O on map". It may not be there if the player has closed all 60 gates before arriving in the vicinity. ComaDivine 01:52, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
The gate's there. It is just due to the nature of Oblivion Gate that it may not actually appear. If we start rephrasing everything in the game that it may be possible, the site would be cluttered with some's and may's. Not a good idea. --Timenn < talk > 04:20, 8 October 2008 (EDT)

Non-respawning Reference[edit]

Howdy. The silver veins are noted as non-respawning, but there is no such reference for the coffins (including the Boss leveled coffin). By omission, some readers will assume all the coffins respawn. Tesseract501 (talk) 05:29, 13 February 2018 (UTC)

I wonder if the note was wrongly placed, as generally these kind of notes are reserved for special cases. However, all silver veins are non-respawning, meaning there is no need for a note on that to appear here. On the contrary, coffins normally respawn, which would prompt a note that the ones here are "special" in that they do not. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 19:14, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
