Multiple Blessings[edit]

When I was in the chapel I saw him stand by the Altar of Talos and getting rebuffed frequently, so I tried to move him and go the blessing myself. Meaning you don't have to seek his shrine to get the blessing. — Unsigned comment by 82.182.205.89 (talk)

Ummm, sorry, but I'm really not sure what you're trying to say here, let alone this information how relates to Gureryne. Guereryne doesn't have a shrine and doesn't give out any blessings; there is no mention of a shrine or blessing anywhere on this page. If you think there is something that needs to be fixed in this article, could you please explain more clearly what the mistake is and why it's a mistake? Thanks. --NepheleTalk 20:20, 1 August 2007 (EDT)
I think what the other person was saying was that this NPC was recieving blessings from an Altar of Talos in a chapel, and he tried moving the NPC out of the way to intercept the blessing. Darkle 21:44, 2 October 2007 (EDT)
I know it's been almost a year, but still. I can confirm that, at least in my game, this is true. He is repeatedly activating the Talos altar and by standing in front of him, I receive the blessing instead of him. — Unsigned comment by 24.174.163.173 (talk) at 18:37 on September 24, 2008
Yeah, it's weird. I just came here because I just saw him repeatedly using the Shrine as well. -- Mebestien 06:57, 18 October 2008 (EDT)
I'm on the PS3 and also can confirm this, he did it for over 10 hours straight so I finally just left. But I wrote a section on the Nine Divines Talk page that relates to this glitch and found out if you stand between anyone and the altar their receiving a blessing from you will receive it too even if you haven't been to the corresponding wayshrine. However trying to get the blessing again by yourself results in the "you must make a pilgrimage before you can receive a blessing from X". -D. Gemini-
Edit: I actually waited 24 hours 3 times to see if he would stop and he still wouldn't stop. It seemed there was a line of 2 or 3 people waiting for him to be done so they could receive their blessings too.. Talk about a blessings hog! LOL --D. Gemini

() Kinda want to bump this a bit. I looked at the package that causes him to use the Altar, but I have little experience with packages other than Wander... It is definitely set to Must Complete and only Once Per Day. I don't know if maybe those interfere with each other? I have the PC version with all official patches as well as the UOP and UOPS, and it still happens. It would be nice if someone else could look it over. Here's a video I uploaded that shows what happens.--DKong27 Tk Ctr Em 21:28, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Bug?[edit]

He appears in the chapel after I free Kellen. He either walks around in circles at the top of the stair case, or he's in some weird loop of trying & failing to walk down the stairs, only to step back & try again over & over. — Unsigned comment by 50.135.167.21 (talk) at 05:23 on 3 October 2012 (GMT)

The multi-blessing bug[edit]

You say it's fixed by the UOP, but I discovered it while running with the UOP active. I don't think any other mod would undo that fix... not sure what it is unless the UOP doesn't actually fix it. Xolroc (talk) 11:32, 10 October 2013 (GMT)

That's definitely interesting then. I put that it was fixed by the UOP because I found it in the list of bugs they have fixed (it can be found here). Unless something went wrong with their fix for this bug, I'm not really sure why he would still be doing this, because their fix stated: "Gureryne Selvilo should no longer repeatedly activate the Altar of Talos (Chorrol) during his daily worship". I'd look into it myself, but I play on the Xbox 360 so this is all the more help I can really provide. Forfeit (talk) 16:28, 10 October 2013 (GMT)
