Effect stack[edit]

I have a question that isn't cleared up by this page... if I cast two identical fire damage spells with durations, does the damage stack or does it simply increase the duration?

Example... when casting multiple "weak fireballs", should I be waiting for the effects to expire between casts or just casting them as quickly as possible? — Unsigned comment by 206.45.72.49 (talk) at 22:42 on 5 November 2009‎

If you cast multiple effects with the same name the effect will be replaced over and over again (i.e. you cast five times a custom spell with 5 pts for 2 sec consecutively, the effect will just keep replacing). But if you cast two different named spells, then the effects will stack (i.e. you have a spell named 01 and another named 02, both with the same effect, then the effects will stack). This applies for all the spells.--S'drassa 02:14, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! I thought it worked like that from my observations, but I couldn't find anything in the wiki to confirm it. Could/should this be added somewhere? 206.45.72.49 16:50, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Knocking Down[edit]

While repeatedly using a fire damage spell on an enemy, I noticed that the enemy got knocked down after (s)he (I cant remember who) got to low health, but didn't die. I haven't found this anywhere else on the wiki, is it worth mentioning somewhere? And I don't believe the spell had an area effect.--68.71.14.115 18:00, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
