Her life in the guildhall is divided between training and relaxation while enjoying the warm climate of the Gold Coast. She sleeps in one of the six available beds in the eastern room on the ground floor every night between midnight and 6am. After waking up she strolls lazily around until 8am when she equips her armor and positions herself at the foot of the stairs leading to the dining hall. At 2pm she enters the training area near the main entrance, pulls out her iron warhammer and spends the next three hours practicing on the training dummy. After relaxing for three hours at the foot of the stairs she finally heads upstairs at 8pm for a two-hour dinner and a bit of socializing with the other residents before she unequips her armor and spends the last two hours of the day wandering around on the ground floor. She will offer training at all times, except when she is eating or sleeping.
She wears a random set of middle-class clothes. She also owns a set of iron armor, including a cuirass, a set of greaves, and a pair of boots. She carries her warhammer and a small amount of gold. Vigdis also knows a leveled knight's spell from the Illusion school.
After you have joined the Guild, she will introduce herself briefly: "Vigdis, Fighters Guild." Like the other Nord residing in the guildhall, Sten the Ugly, Vigdis hates both winter and snow and she is more than willing to provide an explanation if you ask about her city of choice: "Are you kidding? I came here to get away from the mountains and snow. You ever spent a winter in Skyrim? Or Bruma? Give me the Gold Coast any day."
Her skills with blunt weapons are well known among the citizens of Anvil. When asked for rumors they will respond: "I understand that Vigdis at the Fighters Guild has some skill with blunt weapons.been training other Fighters Guild members." and "If you want to learn to use a mace, you should speak to Vigdis. Of course, to speak to Vigdis, you'll have to join the Fighters Guild." Others will simply comment: "I understand good, but you have to be a member of the Fighters Guild for to train you." and "I don't really have any interest in learning how to use a blunt weapon, but I understand very good." Before you join the Fighters Guild, you may hear members of the Guild debating about who was the most recent recruit: "Was Vigdis our most recent recruit? Or ? It's been so long, I forget."
- When talking about Vigdis, the townsfolk of Anvil will refer to her as being male.
- This bug is fixed by version 3.0.0 of the Unofficial Oblivion Patch.
