Sabine Laul, a Breton, is the guild smith at the Chorrol Fighters Guild. She sells weapons and offers repair services, but only to other members of the Fighters Guild. Due to her knowledge of the local area, she will prove helpful during the Legacy Lost quest.
Her smithy and forge is located in the guild basement and she sleeps there every night between midnight and 6am. After waking up she immediately leaves the building and heads down to the Chapel of Stendarr for a quick blessing from Mara and two hours of silent prayer on a pew. She returns to the guildhall at 8am and stays near her forge until her lunch at noon. At 2pm she draws her iron longsword and starts an exhausting, four hour sparring session against Lum gro-Baroth.
At 6pm she pays Rasheda a visit in her store Fire and Steel. She returns to the guildhall and the basement at 8pm and strolls around until her bedtime at midnight. She will offer her various services between 8am and 6pm, except when eating lunch at noon. When you reach stage 15 of the related quest and the townsfolk point you to Sabine for directions, she will patiently wait for you outside the entrance to the basement 24 hours a day. She will also deny you any services until you have asked her about Weatherleah.
She wears attire to match her profession, a pair of blacksmith's pants with a matching apron and rough leather shoes. She carries an apple, the Fighters Guild key and a small amount of gold.

Dialogue[edit]
After you have joined the guild, all her services will be available to you and she will introduce herself:
- "Well, hello there. Sabine Laul, guild smith -- real happy to meet you. So. What can I do for you?"
When asked about Chorrol, her answer will depend on your guild membership. If you are not a member of either the Fighters Guild or Mages Guild, she will advise:
- "You need a place to sleep in Chorrol? Well, why don't you just join the Fighters Guild, or Mages Guild? Sleep for free around Cyrodiil!"
If you are a member, she will tut:
- "You can PAY for a bed at the Grey Mare or the Oak and Crosier. But if you get a bed for free at a guild, why would you pay for one?"
Quest-Related Events[edit]
Legacy Lost[edit]
During the related quest, the citizens of Chorrol will point you towards Sabine with the words: "Yes, I've heard of the place, but I'm not sure where it is. I think your best bet would be to speak to Sabine Laul at the Fighters Guild. She's explored the back country outside of Chorrol quite a bit."
When you ask her about Weatherleah, she will mark the location on your map with the words:
- Weatherleah
- "Hmmmm... let me see. Oh, yes. I remember. I think it's directly south of Chorrol. Place was overrun with ogres though. Nasty brutes. Here, let me show you where it is on your map."
