Plautis Rusonius in the kitchen of Battlehorn Castle

Plautis Rusonius is an Imperial priest who serves as the cook in Battlehorn Castle after the Battlehorn Kitchen Area is purchased. He will provide you with any wine the cellar has in stock, plus a selection of food.

He sleeps from midnight to 5am in the room he shares with Shagrol gro-Uzug and then eats breakfast at the room's small table until 7am. After that, it's off to work and he spends until 7pm pacing around in his kitchen. At 7, he heads to the East Wing for four hours, presumably to supervise dinner, then it's back to the kitchen at 11pm before bed at midnight.

He wears a set of middle class clothing: a blue collar shirt, short britches and a pair of pigskin shoes.

Plautis comes highly recommended by Nilphas Omellian in his Battlehorn Castle Upgrades List:

"I will also provide the services of a most excellent cook, Plautis Rusonius, whose culinary skills I can personally recommend as he was in charge of the kitchens at the Tiber Septim Hotel for many years."

Dialogue

When greeting you he will say:

"What can I do fer ya, ma'am/sir?"

I don't need anything else.

"Come back and see me again."

I'd like something to eat.

"A little food and drink will do you some good."

At this point he will offer you a selection of cheese wedges, grapes, strawberries, mutton, Shepherd's Pie, venison, and sweetrolls. He will always reply:

"Certainly! Here you are. Anything else?"

If you instead ask for a drink, he can provide mead or cheap wine, or any of the wines in the cellar, if you have purchased the relevant upgrade and helped Talan to stock it up:

I'd like a drink.

"A little food and drink will do you some good."

"Certainly! Here you are. Anything else?"
