What is the quote on the top of the page from? thanks. --Playjex 15:37, 24 January 2008 (EST)

The quotes on the top of this and other Morrowind ingredient pages can be found in the dialogue of two NPCs who know about all the various types of ingredients. The NPCs are Anarenen at the Ald'ruhn Mages Guild and Tendris Vedran at the temple in the Telvanni Council House in Sadrith Mora. Additionally, some other NPCs may provide the same information about certain specific ingredients. For example, Synnolian Tunifus of the Imperial Cult in Ebonheart has the same information for each of the ingredients he asks you to collect. --TheRealLurlock Talk 18:49, 24 January 2008 (EST)

Fairly common ingredient[edit]

Hi, Scuttle ingredient is really uncommon in-game. The dialogue says that is Vvardenfell's favorite local dish, but actually only 10 samples are present in Vvardenfell (+ vendor's samples and leveled loot but these amounts are similar more or less than another ingredients).

Further, not creature or plant in-game provides us of it, so... very rare ingredient indeed.

For comparison:

Black Lichen: With 22 samples and 25 plants (and very similar amount of samples in vendors) is described, reasonably, how somewhat rare.

Sload Soap: With 11 samples, without some animal or plant font and with 35 samples in vendors (same that Scuttle) is described how rare.

So, if i understand your english fairly common expression (common or very common) i think that we could change the description of scuttle to "rare ingredient".
