Effect on sneaking[edit]

Sneaking in Morrowind doesn't take lighting into account so does this spell actually have an effect on sneaking at all? Vintage Tea (talk) 08:07, 10 March 2016 (UTC)

Correct. I went ahead and replaced the inaccurate note. The Light spell effect doesn't affect Blind magnitude either, so the original claim seems to have been an intuitive assumption. The oldest version of this page from 2007 reads: "but it is not very condusive to stealth. If you wish to improve your vision without revealing your location to anything nearby, consider a Night Eye spell instead." I believe the formulas for sneaking were only figured out after this article was created, not to mention TES4—which does consider lighting in stealth detection—had been out for a year at the article's creation date. That might explain the confusion. ---Cawayee (talk) 23:56, 28 July 2023 (UTC)

Object illumination delay[edit]

When Light is active, newly placed objects retain a darker shade as if the light is not there. Leaving the area and returning seems to possibly resolve the 'delay' Chill fridge (talk) 07:53, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
