Ring

Does anyone know if and how you can get the ring back after finishing the quest? JOKER'sWild619 06:11, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

According to the CS, the ring will go into Raven's inventory when completing the quest. So it should be possble to steal it from him (if he isn't wearing the ring) or you could kill Raven (taunt him, so you won't get expelled). -Meisterdieb 16:57, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Knocked out

I think the article meant to imply that he will give you the ring if you defeat him in the duel, by reducing his fatigue to 0, thus knocking him out. -- Kertaw48 (talk) 23:09, 11 January 2013 (GMT)

There is a bug in Morrowind engine forcing NPC's to remove equipped rings, belts and amulets sometimes when the battle occurs. So it is possible to initiate a duel, then calm this stupid guy and try to steal the ring again. However he will stuck hostile unless you use calm spell every time you visit him later.

Please note that you can't steal from knocked out NPC's at all without Morrowind Code Patch, so there must be a mistake in the article if we are talking about original game.

Reload a save from before you killed him and try again, or save the game after you killed him and then exit the game and reload that save. His body may then be lootable. --Xyzzy ^Talk 05:42, 4 July 2013 (GMT)

No option to duel and he doesn't attack me even if I taunt him

Where the option to duel should be in? My disposition is over 80 to him (I am a member of Morag Tong) and I can't see it anywhere. I also tried to taunt him to attack me, but even if I got the disposition to 0/100 nothing happened. How should I proceed? Ring's effects not wearing off

I had to use the console to give myself luck restoration potions to fix my luck, but I can't get rid of the burden effect. The ring's enchantments aren't listed in my magical effects. I've tried strength and endurance potions, but according to the stats menu, both of them are fine (neither of them are in red). I even manually calculated the weight of everything in my inventory just to make sure I hadn't just forgotten how much junk I had on me, and it still didn't add up (according to my calculations, I have 126.something units of stuff, while my stats menu says it's 216, meaning I'm carrying 90 units more than I actually am). I've tried using feather potions to get to the altar in Wolverine Hall, but it still didn't remove the burden effect. I don't have anything I want to drop. Vicano (talk) 20:37, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
