Bal Fell has been a city?[edit]

In the Morrowind book Breathing Water a location called Bal Fell is mentioned. However, it appears to be a city, not a Daedric ruin. So I wonder if there are any other references to Bal Fell in literature or dialogue claiming it's been a city or that there's a city but in a different location with the same name? Thanks in advance! I've found one line of dialogue that may explain this: "Bal Fell is the "City of Stone," an ancient First Era ruin in the southeastern islands and promontories of Azura's Coast. The site has a nasty reputation..." etc So apparently it was a city in the 1st Era. Best explanation is that it had been overrun by Daedra worshippers that turned it into a large shrine. --SerCenKing Talk 14:35, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
Allright, thanks for the reply and for editing the article! :) SwedishBerzerker at youtube.com 12:19, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

Backwards maps[edit]

The west/east doors for the inner shrine are backwards...? --Bonabopn 62.254.136.118 20:45, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

Where? On our map? In the game? Please be clearer. rpeh •TCE 06:32, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
In the game, i was running through bal fell when i noticed the inner shrine is backwards. When coming from the east direction, you go through the west door. You can see on the map, try rotating the inner shrine to fit on the outer shrine's door, and the east/west doors are backwards. --Bonabopn 62.254.136.118 09:10, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
Oh yeah. The entrance is coming from the south, so you'd assume the door on your right would be the east wing, but it's not. I guess it's the same situation as with the Leyawiin mansions in Oblivion. Legoless 10:02, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
Ah, I see. It's not an east/west problem, it's that by heading south from the outer shrine, you come out facing north in the inner shrine. Right. rpeh •TCE 10:21, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
It does that often i some dungeons, it would've been okay but they didn't switch the east/west around for the upside-down map. --Bonabopn 62.254.136.118 13:44, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

Telvanni and Mages[edit]

Are they part of a quest or something? And do they attack even if you're a member of their respective factions? Vicano (talk) 17:12, 9 May 2015 (GMT)

I would think they wouldn't attack you if you are a member of their faction, but it sounds like something that should be tested in game. They aren't part of a quest that I know of. Jeancey (talk) 20:27, 16 May 2015 (GMT)
They shouldn't attack. The Telvanni are only found outside, while the Mages Guild are found seemingly "fighting" the Daedra inside (although whether or not they actually fight any of the live ones will need to be tested in-game). The NPCs are probably just there for flavour, since this is the location of the Ten Pace Boots. —Legoless (talk) 15:48, 17 May 2015 (GMT)
Confirmed in-game that the NPCs aren't fighting the Daedra, and they don't attack you. —Legoless (talk) 20:47, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
