Dwemer Ruins are spread throughout the island of Vvardenfell. In these great abandoned halls, one can see evidence of the Dwemer genius for construction and design, as the vast halls are typically guarded by metallic Dwemer Spiders, Centurions and Spheres. Ancient artifacts of the Dwemer culture such as cups and coins of fine workmanship, cogs from their machines and scrap metal from their guardians can be found in these ruins, along with a book or two that might detail their culture. Not surprisingly (considering the Dwemer connection to the source of their power), Dagoth-Ur and his Ash Vampires have mostly chosen Dwemer ruins to dwell in. Oddly enough, two of the major Vampire clans also make their homes in Dwemer ruins. A couple are also home to bandits as well.
