Golden Eye Gaze, worn at Carnaval parties

Carnaval is a holiday associated with Sanguine that has little information on it, and the exact time it takes place is unknown.[1][2] It is a portmanteau of carnal and carnival. Tamrielian customs for Carnaval can vary depending on region. For example, participants from the Blackwood region decorate themselves in elaborate swirling and twirling body markings believed to draw Sanguine's gaze.[3]

The Golden Eye Gaze, an effect which colors the eyes golden and is said to emulate the glint of gold that "tempts many", is worn at local Carnaval parties to draw a "greedy gaze".[4] Some celebrants will buy each other roses during the festival.[UOL 1]

Notes[edit]

  • Saturalia was originally a holiday for a long forgotten god of debauchery.[5] Another holiday in relation to Sanguine is Heart's Day
