Nerevar Rising leitmotif

Nerevar Rising (originally Call of Magic) is a song for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind composed by Jeremy Soule which plays on the main menu. Its melody became a theme for the Elder Scrolls as a series.

"[The Elder Scrolls Theme is] very malleable, so you can make it big and dramatic or soft and gentle. It's like a little musical Rubik's Cube for me. I'll stick it in another piece of music and make it backwards or upside down, and if you're a real music nerd you might pick up on it, but if not, your subconscious might still notice it."

The melody is a somewhat simple one. This minimalism was part of Soule's intentional efforts to offset the repetition the player would experience in playing Morrowind for extended periods of time.
